As a beginning inspect the bag closely for sequins. Loose thread or sequins can easily come out during cleaning. If you notice any take your scissors, cut the threads and tighten any loose sequins.
Next, put the purse in a washable mesh bag designed for delicate items. You can purchase one from most of the local universal shops.
Launder the bag in the washing machine. Set it on a "Delicate" or "Hand Wash" cycle. If your machine does not have a such settings , choose the shortest cycle and use cold water and specialty laundry detergent produced for delicate items treatment.
Take the bag out of the washing machine as soon as possible when the cycle finishes. Remove the sequin bag and flatten out on a towel to air dry or hang up on a hanger.
