How to Clean Angora

There are numerous different types of fabric, requiring different treatment and cares. Some of them can be cleaned easily, but others have to be maintained in a special way. Angora can be made from rabbit hair, nylon and mainly from Angora goat's wool. If you have clothes or some other items made of this fabric, you have to know how to clean them in order to save their good look.

Difficult to clean fabrics are an obstacle for people. For instance, many professional London cleaners say that their clients often call them, asking questions about how to clean different fabrics, at home. Therefore, here are some tips, which can help you to clean Angora, without wasting time and money, asking for help.

1. It is really important to know that items, made from Angora DO NOT have to be soaked for much time, because they will shrink.

2. To wash Angora fabrics, you have to use some type of cold water agent, for wool. Then, you have to wash the items by hand. Wash gently. Do not ever rub!

3. Cover your Angora items with a towel, then iron them, carefully. This way, you can dry the fabric.

4. Always check the labels on your Angora items. Everything you are allowed and not allowed to do is written on the label.

5. If your garment has shrunk after washing, professional cleaners in London advise you to stretch it one way, then the other, while it dries.
