How to Clean a Vacuum Cleaner?

The vacuum cleaner is an appliance that we use for cleaning. It is probably the most important cleaning device. We collect most of the dust and dirt in our homes with it.

Although the vacuum cleaner is such an important house cleaning tool, most people do not take care of it. They don't clean it every time they vacuum and that is wrong. Just as every other appliance, the vacuum cleaner also lives longer when you maintain it properly. So, here is what you should do after every use of your vacuum cleaner:
  • First of all you should empty the container or the dirtbag every time you finish vacuuming. If you have a vacuum cleaner which is with replaceable dirtbags, then replace the dirtbag every time. If you leave it to fill in too much the vacuum cleaner won't suck properly and will start performing bad.
  • Have you noticed that when you vacuum the brush at the end of the vacuum's pipe gets dusty on the back side and sometimes sticks with dirt and hair on the inside? If you haven't, then you should pay more attention. Wipe the brush and the pipes of the vaccum cleaner with a cloth every time you finish vacuuming. This will preserve the good looks of the appliance and will not allow dirt to enter its engine.
  • If you have a vacuum cleaner with a container, don't only empty the container, but also wash it every time you finish vacuuming. This is obligatory for vacuum cleaners with a tornado filter, too.
  • If your vacuum cleaner has a microfilter, check how dirty it is every time you finish vacuuming and wash it if it has collected too much dust. Make sure it is absolutely dry before you put it back in the appliance.

The vacuum cleaner is undoubtedly the most important tool for the house cleaning process. Just like every other appliance in a household, though, it requires certain cares, and if they are not provided it will stop working properly.
