First, we have a list of a few general rules for maintaining and cleaning the furniture upholstery.
1. Never wash the upholstery in the laundry, and also do not dry in the dryer, unless the manufacturers’ instructions allow it.
2. Do not vacuum the soft furniture too often because the fabric loses its capacity and it could be easily damaged.
3. When using stain cleaners on furniture, it is better to put a small amount of the cleaner on a thin piece of cloth instead of applying the solution directly to the fabric.
4. Do not use multiple cleaners on the spots, because the different chemicals could cause reactions that damage and decolour the fabrics.
5. After using detergent for upholstery leave the spot to air dry.
